Welcome to Farm Across the Lake, a mostly visual journal of the doings on our small farm. My husband and I keep chickens, goats, sheep, cows, three dogs, and an unfriendly cat. There is also a donkey in the mix who is often taken for a pony despite his long ears and distinctive bray.
I wanted to have my own little internet homebase to store the happenings and changes around here season to season. Farm Across the Lake hearkens back to the personal blogs of the 2010s and earlier, when people were just pleasantly sharing their day to day lives led by nothing more than the impulse to photograph and write about the things they love.
